Marjorie “Pat” Thompson, 87, of Adena, Ohio passed away October 29, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry Thompson.

She was a faithful member of the Adena United Methodist Church. Pat served on the church board for many years, and was a member of the choir. In addition to her church service, she was a member of the Adena Women’s Club and the Adena American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing Bunco with her friends and traveling with her family. The joy of her life was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Sam(Nancy) Thompson, Marge(Don) Moore, Penny(Brian) Hedman , grandchildren, Suzanne(Jeremy) Winans, Todd Moore, Samantha(Sam) Bailey, Nichole(Cliff) Crothers, Natalie(Rich) Clum, Jenna(Jason) Stiwald, Leah(Ryan) Skerl. She was also a proud great-grandmother to seven and great-great grandmother to one.

Calling hours will be Wednesday November 1, 4PM to 8PM at Borkoski Funeral Home in Adena, with funeral services Thursday November 2 at 11AM, with Reverend Drew Mc Peek officiating. She will be laid to rest at Holly Memorial Gardens in Colerain.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Adena United Methodist Church.
