Jerry “PAP” Schultz, 91, of Rayland, OH, died, Monday, May 1, 2017 at Liza’s Place, in Wheeling, WV.

Jerry was born on September 19, 1925, in Rayland, OH, to the late John and Caroline Schultz.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Olva Martin.

He was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel; a member of the Steel Workers Union # 1223; a member of the CSA and St Joseph’s Catholic Church.

Jerry is survived by his devoted wife of 61 years, Bernadette (Grote) Schultz; two sons, John (Debra) Schultz Sr and Jeffrey (Diane) Schultz; three grandsons, John (Kaitlyn) Jr, Jerad (Garret) and Joshua (Moria); two step-grandsons, Larry (Sarah) Angel and Ryan (Shanna) Angel and 14 great-grandchildren.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Jerry and celebrate his life on Wednesday, May 3rd, from 2-4 and 6-8 at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.

Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday at 10am from St Joseph’s Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, OH, with Father William Cross officiating.

Burial will follow at Upland Cemetery.
