Jerry L. Kinder, 77, of Rayland, Ohio, died Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville, Ohio. 
Jerry was born on April 1, 1940 in Bellaire, Ohio, son to the late Richard and Betty (Mosser) Kinder.
He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 483 Bellaire; Osiris Templeof the Shrine of Wheeling, W.Va.; Scottish Rite #32 of Steubenville, OH; the Elks Club of Martins Ferry and was a journeyman machinist for the Hanson Corporation.
Jerry is survived by his wife, JoAnn (Rudish) Kinder; three sons, Richard (Tammy) of Pataskala, OH; Brian (Amy) of Morristown, OH and Jeffery (Tangie) of Wilmington, OH; two daughters, Michelle (Richard)  Steffik of Yorkville, OH; and Jerri Lynne (John) Romanyak of Reynoldsburg, OH; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Jerry and celebrate his life on Monday from 4-9 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. from the funeral home. Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH.
