Chester “Chet” Johnson Jr, 68, of Rayland, OH, died, Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at East Ohio Regional Hospital, in Martins Ferry, OH.

Chet was born on June 29, 1948 in Wheeling, WV, to the late Chester and Anna Mae (Kyser) Johnson Sr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Susie Stewart.

Chet was retired from Nickles Bakery, but was a jack of all trades, he loved working around the house and helping anybody in need, and loved fishing and playing cards.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Bernadine (Petras) Johnson; four sisters, Helen Levesque, Lois Baker, Judi Johnson and Debbie Burris; several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great- nephews.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Chet and celebrate his life on Sunday, April 9th, from 4-8 at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.

Funeral services will be on Monday at 11 am from the funeral home with Reverend Jim Monogoudis officiating.
