Tacy Elizabeth Kirk, 29 of Dallas Texas went to be with the Lord on January 10, 2018 due to complications from a rare illness called Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome.
Tacy was born December 22, 1988 in Wheeling, WV, the daughter of Lisa Beaver (Steve) and Wayne Kirk. Tacy grew up in St. Clairsville Ohio. She did post-secondary school at Ohio University. Once she graduated, she moved to Los Angeles, California to pursue a degree in Fashion at The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising graduating Magna Cum Laude in 2009.
Due to developing a rare illness, she had to move back to the Ohio Valley to be near family, but continued her education goals receiving another degree from Ohio State University in Marketing and Merchandising, again, graduating with honors. She had plans to begin a Master’s degree this fall majoring in behavior health.
Besides her parents and step-father, she leaves her son Ryker Yarnall of Texas, who she loved so dearly. She also leaves a brother, Tyler Kirk of Utah, half-brother David, two half-sisters Danielle and Emma all of Adena and two step brothers, Cory and Zachery Beaver of Adena, her cherished grandmother, Betty Kovalski of Rayland and Sara Kirk of Adena and her grandfather Oliver Kirk of Adena, her special friend Richard Yarnall of Texas and her loving dog Daisy, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
Tacy was an incredible person and loved spending time with her son and her family. She loved taking pictures. She was so kind hearted, never missing a holiday or birthday as a chance to send a card with loving words to a loved one.
Tacy is preceded in death by her grandfather, Ted Kovalski and her half-brother Michael Kirk.
Visitation will be at East Richland Friends Church in St. Clarisville Ohio from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with services following on Wednesday, January 17, 2018.
Private Burial will be followed at Shortcreek Friends Church Cemetery on Harrisville Adena Road in Harrisville Ohio. Borkoski’s Funeral Home is taking care of the arrangements.
Tacy loved animals and it would have been her wish for donations to be made to the Belmont County Animal Shelter in lieu of flowers.
