Walter Latacz

Walter Latacz, 72, of Rayland, OH, passed away, Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital, in Wheeling, WV.
Walt was born on November 7, 1952, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Steve and Anna (Slodyczka) Latacz.
Walt was a graduate of The Ohio State University, earning a degree in Physical Therapy. In his spare time Walt loved writing songs. He lived a full and complete life. He will be greatly missed!
Walt is survived by his brother, Steve (Rosanna) Latacz; his niece, Stephanie (Andy) Adams and two great-nieces, Bailey and Olivia Adams.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Walt and celebrate his life on Wednesday, March 26th, from 2-8 pm at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with a vigil service at 5 pm, with Father William Cross.
Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Thursday, 11 am, from St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Belmont County Animal Shelter in Walt’s name.
