Wallace Goff Obituary

Wallace Duane “Red” Goff, 84, of Rayland, OH, died, Tuesday, July 20, 2021, at Trinity West Medical Center, in Steubenville, OH.

He was born on March 13, 1937, Newburg, WV, to the late Ross and Marion (Funk) Goff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Richard Goff Sr. and an infant daughter, Winona Goff.

Red was a graduate of Warren Consolidated High School, Class of 1956. He was a retired Lineman of AEP. Red was a member of the Hopewell United Methodist Church, for 60 plus years. He belonged to the Masonic Lodge, of Smithfield, OH and enjoyed wood working and farming. He will be greatly missed.

Red is survived by his wife of 64 years, Dorothy (Steinman) Goff; a son, Jeffrey (Cathy) Goff; a daughter, Terri (Don) Zeigler; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. A special thank you goes to Jessica and Jaycen for their help at home during Pap’s illness.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Red and celebrate his life on Thursday, July 22nd, from 3-7 at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.

Funeral services will be Friday 11 am, from the funeral home, with Reverend James Hoff officiating.

Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery, Rayland, OH.
