Tyler Wayne Kirk

Tyler Wayne Kirk, 34 of Sandy, Utah passed away on July 13, 2026. Tyler was born on August 28, 1991, in Wheeling, WV, the son of Lisa Kovalski Beaver (Steve) and Wayne Kirk. Tyler grew up in St. Clairsville, Ohio and graduated from college in Columbus, Ohio. He later made Utah his home, where he reunited with his best friend since high school, Tyler Long. They became roommates and enjoyed what was referred to the “best bachelor life”.

Tyler found peace and happiness in the mountains of Utah. Hiking was one of his greatest passions and a favorite weekend activity whenever he wasn't working. When
he wasn't exploring the outdoors, he cherished spending time with his two beloved pets, Chance and Gus who were constant companions and brought him endless joy. Tyler also had a creative spirit and enjoyed drawing. He loved collecting everything from clothing and shoes to vinyl records and artwork. His many tattoos were an extension of that creativity, each telling a story and reflecting his individuality.

In addition to his parents/stepfather, he is survived by his half-brothers David Kirk, Cory and Zac Beaver and half-sisters Danielle and Emma Kirk and his grandmother, Sara Kirk. He also leaves his nephew, Ryker Yarnall in which he always enjoyed spending time with whenever he returned to Texas. Tyler is preceded in death by his grandparents Ted Kovalski, Betty Kovalski and Oliver Kirk, his sister Tacy Kirk and his half-brother Michael Kirk. Visitation will be from 6-9 pm on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Borkoski Funeral Home in Tiltonsville, Ohio.

Private burial will be Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 11 am at Shortcreek Friends Church Cemetery on Harrisville- Adena Road, Adena, Ohio. Tyler’s absence leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who loved him. His memory will be cherished, and he will be deeply missed every day.
