Timothy J Poch

Timothy Joseph Poch, 53, of Rayland, (Connorville), OH, died, Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Weirton Medical Center, as a result of a work-related incident.

Tim was born on August 5, 1966, in Martins Ferry, OH, to Joseph Poch and Dorothy (Pados) Cooper.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Joe Poch and an infant niece, Courtney Tout

Tim was employed with Arcelor Mittal Steel in Weirton WV. He loved weightlifting and riding his dirt-bike. He also loved hunting and golfing, but more importantly, he loved spending time with his family. Tim was full of life and made everyone around him smile and laugh.

In addition to his parents, Tim is survived by his wife of 29 years, Pamela (Sterling) Poch; his two daughters, Haleigh Poch, of Fredericksburg, VA and Peyton Poch, of the home; his sister, Christine (Albert) Takach; two brothers, Jeffrey Poch and Tony (Stacie) Poch , all of Connorville; his grandmother, Leona Poch; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces and nephews and two very special young men that are like sons to him, Nathan Kowalski, of Fredericksburg, VA and Hunter Binkiewicz, of Dillonvale, OH.

To honor Tim’s wishes, there will be a celebration of his life at a later date, which will be announced.
