Thelma Kay (Emerson) George

Thelma Kay (Emerson) George, 85, of Wadsworth, OH, formerly of Tiltonsville, OH, passed away August 7th, 2024 at Lifecare Hospice in Wooster, OH.

Thelma was born August 16,1938 in Tiltonsville, OH, a daughter of the late John and Irma (Kritz) Emerson.   

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Vincent George; her brother, George “Buddy” Emerson; and sisters, Velma Kuhn, Beverly Lester, Dorothy Moffo, and Ethel Edzkowski.

Thelma is survived by her daughter, Amy (Steven) Hydash of Wadsworth, OH; grandchildren, Zachary Webb and Tiffany Hydash; and brother, Ronald Emerson. 

Friends will be received, Monday August 12th from 4-8pm at Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH with a vigil service at 4:30pm with Father William Cross. 

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Tuesday at 9:30 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, OH, with Father William Cross.

Entombment to follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove.
