Terry "Geno" Thompson

Terry E. “Geno” Thompson, 72, of Bellaire, OH, passed away, Sunday, March 20, 2022, at Wheeling Hospital.

He was born February 4, 1950, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Robetta Potkoski.

In addition to his mother, Geno was preceded in death by four brothers, Ronald Tuchek, Jess Thompson, David Thompson and Gary Thompson and his sister in-law, Christine Thompson.

Geno was a graduate of Adena High School, class of 1969 and worked for 37 years in the railroad industry, 20 of them with Wheeling & Lake Erie Railway. He was also a former member of the Adena Volunteer Fire Department.

He is survived by his four brothers, twin brother Bob Thompson, Claude Thompson, Stanley Potkoski Jr and Stephen Potkoski and his sister, Shirley Thompson.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Geno and celebrate his life on Thursday, March 24th, from 3-7 at the Borkoski Funeral home, Tiltonsville, OH.

Funeral services will be Friday, 11 am, from the funeral Home, with Pastor Pete Tuchek officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Valley Hospice or the to an organization of Donor’s choice in Terry Thompson’s name.
