Tammy Sue Kelley, 56, of Glen Robbins, OH, passed away, Saturday, June 14, 2025, at UPMC Shadyside, following a courageous battle against cancer.
Tammy was born on July 19th, 1968, in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Patricia (Kurko.) Kelley and the late Lawrence F. Kelley.
Tammy was always the life of the party. The one who could make you laugh or smile with her silly antics. She loved her family and God so very dearly and took pride in her work.
She has been reunited with her hero, her father, Lawrence F. Kelley. Grandmothers, Elizabeth Kelley and Gertrude Kurko and Grandfathers, Lawrence W. Kelley and Michael Kurko.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her devoted daughter, Brittany N. Kelley of Glen Robbins. Mother, Patricia Kelley of Glen Robbins. Brothers, Timothy (Rita) of Flushing and Larry (Tori) of Ames, Iowa and a sister, Donna McCroskey of Glen Robbins. Her bonus sisters and best friends, Darla Hilliard and Krystine Horvath. As well as her loving pups, Louie Boots, Gracie Mae and Grammy’s girl, Juno. In life she was many things but one of the things she enjoyed the most was being an aunt or TaTa as she was called. She treasured her nieces Tiffany (Clayton) Rico, Natalie (Jacob) Christensen and Brooke (Kevin) Kelley. Nephews, Joshua Kelley and TJ (Kaitlen) Kelley. Great-nephews, Brock and Weston Rico and Jones Christensen as well as Great-nieces, Cora and Mya Christensen.
A special thank you to her wonderful UPMC Pulmonologist, Dr. Richard Ramonell, who with him we may have never gotten as far as we did without his kindness and generosity.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Tammy and celebrate her life, Saturday, June 21st, from 12 noon until service time of 3 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Pastor Jim Monogioudis officiating.
There will be no funeral as she will be cremated and her ashes will be spread as directed in Montana, a place she always wanted to visit.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center of Pittsburgh.
