Shirley A Bell

Shirley A. Bell, 78, of Martins Ferry, OH, passed away, Monday, February 3, 2025, at Liza’s Place, in Wheeling, WV.

She was born on October 28, 1946, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late William and Grace (Johnson) Harris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Frank and James Harris and five sisters, Mary Harris, Hazel Smith, Grace Turvey, Mary Wilson and Virginia Bruey.

Shirely was a volunteer at the Daily Bread Center for 30 years and worked at the Martins Ferry swimming pool. She enjoyed working in her garden, crocheting for her family and friends and loved decorating her house for Christmas. Shirley’s passion was Martins Ferry football, she was an avid Purple Riders Fan!

Shirley is survived by her husband, Robert Bell Sr.; two sons, Bob Bell Jr and Mark Bell; two daughters, Lisa Bell and Tina Bell (Jeff Jackson); her sister, Sarah (Robert) Sears; two step grandchildren, Mathew McMillen and Chris Goldsmith and four great-grandchildren, Alleyah, Brianna, Connor and Dyah.
