Shawn M Chrisagis

Internationally known Christian Recording Artist Shawn Chrisagis passed away suddenly on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at age 55.

Shawn was born on March 16, 1968, in Wheeling, WV, to the late John and Marguerite (DeFilippo) Chrisagis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Tony and Carmella DeFilippo.

 He was the identical twin of his brother Brian, who together were known as The Chrisagis Brothers. They appeared on TV, radio, MTV, Candid Camera and all the Christian Networks.  They were so popular that they had their own TV series, a children’s toy and book line, had a reality TV show pilot filmed by the A&E Network and did a TV sitcom pilot.  The brothers had a highly rated radio show and recorded 12 music CD’s. They also penned their amazing life story in their book “Legacy of Love”. Their creativity brought both Hollywood and Christian Music Legends from all over to the Ohio Valley.  The twins were also Personal Assistants to several elite Hollywood stars.  Some of the stars and Christian Music Legends will be coming to celebrate the life of the man who lived what he preached to reach the world with a ministry of music and fun for the entire family. He is survived by his two brothers, Brian his twin and Anthony his older brother, and their loyal friend and assistant in ministry Lynda Sullivan.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Shawn and celebrate his life on Monday, June 26th, from 1pm until the time of Life Celebration, with memorial videos and music, of 4pm, at the Harbor of Hope Assembly of God, in St. Clairsville, OH, with closing prayer to follow with Pastor Paul Sitko.
