Ruth E. Zoc

Ruth E. Zoc, 97, of Rayland, OH, passed away, Monday, May 25, 2026, at Wheeling Hospital, WVU Medicine.

She was born on February 13, 1929, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Frank and Olive (Mills) Leach.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Zoc and her brother Frank Leach.

Ruth loved spending time with her family and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Martins Ferry, OH.

Ruth is survived by three sons, Joseph Zoc, Timothy (Judith) Zoc and James Zoc; her four grandchildren, Jennifer (Jake) Cohagen, Timothy (Kara) Zoc, Matthew Zoc and Christopher Zoc; three great-grandchildren, Cole, Nicholas and Jemma Zoc and her fur-baby, Heidi.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Ruth and celebrate her life on Monday, June 1st, from 3-7 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH and on Tuesday, from 10 am until the time of service of 11 am, at the funeral home, with Pastor Jim Monogioudis officiating.

Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Martins Ferry, OH.
