Ruth A McConville

Ruth A. McConville, 83, of Martins Ferry, OH, formerly of Warren, OH, passed away, Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Carriage Inn of Steubenville.

She was born on May 8, 1938, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late George and Frances (Kuckuck) McConville.

In addition to her parents, she weas preceded in death by four brothers, Don, Bill, Tom and Bob McConville and her stepfather, Walter Dunlap.

Ruth was a graduate of Martins Ferry High School. She owned and operated Ruth Ann’s Hairstyling, in Warren Ohio for many years. She was a member of Grace Methodist Church, where she was involved with many mission trips and taught Sunday School for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time in her garden.

Ruth is survived by her brother, Paul “Gene” McConville and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Ruth and celebrate her life on Wednesday, December 8th, from 11 am until the time of service of 1pm, at Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Pastor Larry Lewis.
