Roger Higgins Obituary

Roger Lee Higgins, 78, of Tiltonsville, OH, died, Wednesday, January 20, 2021, at Trinity West Hospital, in Steubenville, OH.

He was born on November 19, 1942, in Pine Grove, WV, to the late Richard and Rosie (Harris) Higgins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Ralph, Bruce and Charlie Higgins and a sister, Geraldine Dolak.

After graduation, Roger enlisted in The United States Army. He served his country for 25 years, including two tours of duty in Vietnam. After retiring from the military, Roger retired from Walmart, where he worked in Maintenance for 19 years.

Roger is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary Lou (Yordan) Higgins; two sons, Christian Higgins and Ray Yoka and two grandchildren, Alexis and Lindsay Yoka.

Private services are being held at the convenience of the family at Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Pastor Jim Monogioudis officiating.

Full Military services will be conducted graveside, Parkview Cemetery, by the Moundsville, WV, American Legion.
