Obituary
Robert “Pete” Alan Vargo, 71, of Rayland, OH passed away on Monday October 31, 2022.
He was born on January 22, 1951, to the late Daniel Vargo Jr. and Irene Toza Vargo.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister Dolores, brother Daniel Richard, sister Velma (Pete) DaGrava (Robert) Hauner, brother in-law John Makuch, nephews Jeffery Vargo & John Craig Makuch and Father & Mother in-law Jim & Virginia Schubert.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He loved his dog Buster, playing cards, eating good food, talking about his over the road travels and being ornery.
His wife, kids, grand-kids and dog will miss him dearly.
Pete is survived by his wife of 45 years Bess Marie Schubert, his kids; Sarah (Jacob) Primovic, Melissa Vargo, Brittany (John S II) Yoder and Ashlee (Chas) Yoder, grandchildren; Trent & Tucker Primovic, Johnny & Ruby Yoder, and Hadlee & Harrison Yoder, as well as his elder sister Clara Makuch.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Pete and celebrate his life on Friday, November 4th, from 2-7 and on Saturday from noon until the time of service of 2 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Reverend Tom Thomas officiating.
