Robert O. Prati, 77, of Tiltonsville, OH, crossed over to his new life, Friday, October 25, 2024, at WVU Medicine- Wheeling, Hospital.
Bob was born June 10, 1947, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Orlando and Elsie (Zadzawicis) Prati.
Bob was a graduate of Warren Consolidated High School, class of 1965. He was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Yorkville Plant. After retiring from the mill, Bob worked for the Village of Tiltonsville and the Warren Township Park, where he served on the park board as well. Bob was a member of the New Bridge Church, (the former Vineyard Church), in Wheeling, WV, where he loved serving and gathering for fellowship. Bob enjoyed watching college football and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan. He also enjoyed baseball and cheering for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Bob enjoyed sports and loved the church however his true passion was being with his family. Bob was happiest when he was with them… He will be greatly missed!
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Kristine (Komonich) Prati; his son, Josh (Christa) Prati; his daughter, Erika (David) Scarpone; two grandchildren Zoe (James) Toth and Eve Scarpone; two great-grandchildren, Juliette-Kristine and Vivian Toth; two brothers, James (Rosanne) Prati and Steve (Beth) Prati; several nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Bob and celebrate his life on Wednesday, October 30th, from 1 pm until the time of sharing memories and closing prayer of 3:30 pm, at the New Bridge Church, Wheeling, WV.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude or the New Bridge Church: 647 Warden Run Road, Wheeling, WV, 26003, in Bob’s name.
