Robert “Fats” DeVaul, 79, of Tiltonsville, OH, passed away, Monday, October 21, 2024, at his home, with his family by his side. He was born on August 11, 1945, in Wheeling, WV.
Fats loved to golf, play pool and vacation in Las Vegas. He was employed at Ohio Ferlo Alloy in Brilliant, OH, until the plant closed. Fats then was employed with Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Yorkville Plant, as a Millwright.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Carol (Greenwood) Bilica and his stepfather, Steve Bilica.
Fats is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Leota (Lowery) DeVaul; two sons, Vince (Renee) DeVaul and Bryan (Shannon) DeVaul; four grandchildren, Alexis DeVaul, Jamey (Cheyenne) DeVaul, Alli (Zac) Cernansky and Teagan DeVaul; four great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Zeke, Jack and Noah; two brothers, Steve (Kathy) Bilica and Mike Bilica and a sister, Charlotte (Al) Vaglienti.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Fats and celebrate his life on Thursday, October 24th, from 2-7 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.
Private funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.
