Richard “Shak” Roshak, 72, of Tiltonsville, OH, passed away, Sunday, December 5, 2021, at Trinity West Medical Center.
He was born October 6, 1949, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Paul and Betty Jo (Kyre) Roshak.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Marty, Johnny-Bob, Ed and Bill Roshak; two sisters, Mary Jo Puskas and Bonnie Walkup and son in-law, Joe Zeroski.
Shak was a graduate of Warren Consolidated, where he played football, baseball and basketball. His passion for sports led him to play softball for many years with his buddies. He was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Mingo Junction Plant. He enjoyed fishing and watching his beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. Shak loved spending time with his family and friends. He never knew a stranger and was loved by all. He will be greatly missed!
Shak is survived by his wife of 48 Years, Jerri (Yeager) Roshak; two daughters, Brandi Zeroski and Sherrie (Mark) Scott; a sister, Betty Lou Morris and three granddaughters, Hunter and Baylee Zeroski and Lauren Hagen.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Shak and celebrate his life on Thursday, December 9th, from 2-4 and 6-8 at Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.
Funeral services will be Friday 11 am, from the funeral home with Father William Cross officiating.
