Richard Wayne Francis, 74, of Rayland, OH, passed away, Saturday, March 16, 2024, at Allegheny General Hospital.
Rich was born November 18, 1949, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Russell and Mildred (Yater) Francis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandson, Blake Richard Francis; a brother, Russell “Butch” Francis and two sisters, Mary Soos and Shirley Orzolek.
Rich served in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany. He retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Mingo Junction Plant, where he was a pipefitter and a crane operator. Rich had a passion for cars and was the founder and president of The Ohio Valley Street Survivors.
Rich is survived by his loving wife, Donna (Maizlik) Francis; his son, Ricky (Tina) Francis; his daughter, Misty Francis (Danny LaCross); a sister, Joyce McFadden and his grandson, Blayze Francis.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Rich and celebrate his life on Thursday, March 21st, from 2-8 and on Friday from 10 am until the time of service of 11 am, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Pastor Dave Hennen officiating.
Full Military Services will be conducted by the Belmont County Honor Guard at Holly Memorial Gardens.
