Richard Paul “Dick” Bodemann, 84, of Tiltonsville, OH, died, Sunday, March 10, 2019, at Wheeling Hospital.
Dick was born on May 8, 1934, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Leonard and Mary (Rentzler) Bodemann.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leonard Bodemann and two sisters, Barbara Long and Mary Lou Pucci.
Dick served in the United States Army and Army reserves, and was very proud to be a medic, in France, during his time of service. He was retired from Lance Inc. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, a member of The Knights of Columbus and he belonged to the Holy Name Society.
Dick is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Charlotte (Pyle) Bodemann; two sons, Richard M. and Michael D. Bodemann (Deanna); two daughters, Joyce A. (Barry) Renzler and Brenda K. (Jay) Trigg; a sister, Regina Young and three grandchildren, Kyle and Keri Renzler and Justin Trigg.
Friends will be received to pay tribute and celebrate his life on Wednesday, March 13th from 2-4 & 6-8, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with a wake service at 3:45, with Father William Cross.
Funeral Liturgy with mass will be on Thursday, at 10 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, OH.
