Minnie Mellinger

Minnie Mellinger, 74, of Rayland, OH, passed away, Sunday, October 29, 2023, at WVU Wheeling Hospital, peacefully, in her sleep.

She was born May 10, 1949, to the late Harley “Chick” and Shirley (Mcintire) Johnston.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard “Doc” Mellinger and her sister, Cindy Barcus.

Minnie worked at the Convenient Food Mart in Yorkville, OH for 20 years. In her spare time, she loved to bowl, fish and watch her beloved Green Bay Packers. However, Minnie’s true passion was spending time with her family.

Minnie is survived by her son, Joe Mellinger; three brothers, Harley Johnston Jr, Jeff Johnston and Joe Johnston; her grandson, Chance Mellinger and several nieces and nephews.

Private services were entrusted with Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.
