Mildred Kovaleski, 94, of Dillonvale, OH, passed away, Friday, March 28, 2025, at Continuous Care Center, in Wheeling, WV.
She was born on September 20, 1930, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late John and Sophie Plewniak.
In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Edward L. Kovaleski; three brothers, Joe, Frank and John Plewniak and three sisters, Helen Cefus, Wanda VanBeneden and Gen Chrisagis.
Mildred worked at the Dillonvale Pharmacy as a pharmacy tech for over 30 years. She was a life-long member of St. Adalberts Church and belonged to the Catholic Women’s Club.
Mildred is survived by her son, Edward Kovaleski; four daughters, Chris (Greg) Capers, Judy (Rich) Silverio, Robin (Joe) Zabitski and Sandy (Rich) Persiani; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Mildred and celebrate her life on Wednesday, April 2nd from 2-8, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with prayers with Father Ciprian.
Funeral services will be Thursday, 10 am, from the funeral home, with Father William Cross officiating.
Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH.
