Mary Guisti

Mary E. (Peterlin) Guisti, 103, of Rayland, OH, passed away, Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital.

She was born on January 14, 1922, in Wheeling, WV, to the late Frank and Katherine Peterlin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roger Guisti; her infant son, Roger Jr and son, Laurence Guisti; two sisters, Mildred and Dorothy Peterlin and many other family members.

Mary was a long-time member and officer with the Rayland VFD as well as the Yorkville VFW.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Mel) Woods, of Rayland; her son, Kirk Guisti, of Rayland; grandson, Craig Guisti, of Yorkville and her dog, Rocco.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Mary and celebrate her life on Thursday, August 14th, from 11 am until the time of service of 2 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Reverend Tom Thomas officiating.

Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery, Rayland, OH.
