Mark Alan Kovalcik

Mark Alan Kovalcik, 69, of Highlandtown, OH, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born on October 15, 1953, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late James and Margaret (Petras) Kovalcik.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and James Kovalcik.

Mark was employed with Wheeling Pittsburgh for 32 years. In his spare time, Mark enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers sitting in his favorite chair.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Lisa (Woodward) Kovalcik; his daughters, Jennifer (Joshua), Worthington, of Concord, NC, Natasha (Shaun) Ford, of Wintersville, OH, Vanessa (Katie) Cormier, of Charlotte, NC; his son, Mark Alan Kovalcik Jr, of Highlandtown, OH; his sister, Suelyn (Les) Starkey; sister in-law, Cathy Kovalcik; three grandchildren, Zachary and Logan Ford and Allyssa Elliot and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Mark and celebrate his life on Friday, January 6th, from 2 pm until the time of service of 4:30 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.
