Lowell Bell, 55, of Tiltonsville, OH, passed away, Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at Wheeling Hospital.
Lowell was born June 1, 1969, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late Thomas and Chieko (Kita) Bell Jr.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Andrew Bell.
Lowell was such an amazing man. He never met a stranger and was always willing to help those in need. He loved his family, friends and even his work friends with a passion. He was a proud union member. Prior to Nickles Bakery, he was a bus driver for Buckeye Local, where the students and staff loved him and his infectious smile. His children, Logan, Blake, Lance and Chase were his pride and joy. Lowell was also the Athletic Director for Young Buckeyes Football. He was an avid Pittsburgh Penguins fan, he had a passion for cars and enjoyed working on his Toyota Tacoma. Lowell will be missed greatly.
He is survived by his fiancé, Amanda, four sons, Logan, Blake (Rylee), Lance and Chase; his sister in-law, Patti (Charlie); a cousin, Jerry (Barb); niece, Christina (James); a nephew, Justin (Sydney); a great-niece, Lennon Rae; great-nephews, Christopher and Xavier and best friends, Al (Val) and Chris (Kay).
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Lowell and celebrate his life on Tuesday, May 13th, from 2-8, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH and on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of service, of 11 am, at the funeral home, with Pastor Herb Fletcher.
Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH.
