Louise A. Kavage, 100, formerly of Yorkville, OH, passed away, Friday, November 12, 2021, at Forest Hills Care Center, in St. Clairsville, OH.
Louise was born July 30, 1921, in Yorkville, OH to the late Henry and Quintina Biacco De Usanio Azzi Sr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Kavage; her daughter, Nancy Lynn Kavage; five brothers, Frank, Pete, Reynaldo, Henry Jr Azzi and Joe De Usanio; two sisters, Lucy Wnek and Henrietta Azzi Corazini Zacchini; step mother, Albina (Simoncic) Azzi and long-time companion, George Pontia.
During WWII, Louise made parts for the United States Navy at Blaw-Knox, in order to purchase winter coats for her children. Also, she was a member of Eastern Star, Chapter 581, Shadyside, OH. She will be greatly missed!
Louise is survived by her son, Ted (Patty) Kavage; two daughters, JoAnn Baudaillier (Dave Kern) and Susan Kavage (Dave DeFelice); a brother, James (Donna) Azzi; two grandchildren, Melissa (Drew) Simaskevich and Joseph (Carrie) Baudaillier; three great-grandchildren, Kayla and Evan Simaskevich and Remy Baudaillier and several beloved nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Louise and celebrate her life, Tuesday, November 16th, from 11 am until the time of service of 1 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Reverend Tom Thomas officiating.
Burial will follow at Upland Heights Cemetery.
