Louis "Louie" Zackey

Louis (Louie) Patrick Zackey, 62, of Colerain, Ohio, passed away April 5, 2021, at home surrounded by his family.  He was born on December 12, 1958, to Clara (Sliday)Zackey and the late Louis N. Zackey.
 
Louie was a 1977 graduate of Buckeye South High School. He retired from the coal industry. He was Catholic. He loved his family and friends, blues music, playing guitar, the Kansas City Chiefs, college football, bass fishing and riding Harley Davidson Motorcycles.
 
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Jenine, and two sons, Shawn (Dana), and Ian. He has one grandson, John. Additional family survivors are his mother, Clara, and his sisters, Susan (Rob) Starr, and Sally (Jerry) Ford. His father Louis (Zac) preceded him in death.
 
Private family services will be on Wednesday, April 7th at Borkoski Funeral Home in Tiltonsville, Ohio, from 10 am until 12 noon. Friends will be received to pay tribute to Lou and celebrate his life following the family services from noon until 4pm.
 
Masks and social distancing are preferred at the funeral home.
