Lisa Vrotsos, 61, of Yorkville, OH, passed away peacefully, Friday, November 1, 2024, at her home, with her family by her side.
She was born April 21, 1963, in Steubenville, OH, to Flora Mae (Zeigler) Cooper and the late John P. Cooper.
Lisa was a graduate of Wintersville High School and JVS. After raising her children, Lisa was employed at Cabela’s as an Outfitter. Lisa enjoyed laying by her pool and taking care of her garden and flowers. She also hosted family gatherings at her home where everyone felt welcome. Lisa’s greatest enjoyment was her children and grandchildren, she loved her family. Lisa will be greatly missed!
In addition to her mother, Lisa is survived by her husband, Drew “Andy” Vrotsos; her daughter, Ashley Vrotsos (Tommy Hamilton); her son, Andrew (Clara) Vrotsos; two brothers, John Cooper and Paul (Valerie) Cooper; three sisters, Terry Cooper, Cindy Sawyer and Tammy Zorne; three grandchildren, Vivianne, Theodore and Andriana and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Lisa and celebrate her life on Wednesday, November 6th, from 2-4 and 6-8, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.
Funeral service will be Thursday, 11 am, at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Life-Giving Fountian, Martins Ferry, OH, with Father Constantine Makrinos officiating.
Burial will follow at Upland Heights Cemetery.
