Kathy J. Harris

Katherine J. Harris, 61, of Rayland, OH, passed away, Saturday, October 7, 2023, at East Ohio Regional Hospital.

She was born on December 6, 1961, in Martins Ferry, OH, to Ethel (Viola) Marbais and the late, Lawrence Donley.

In addition to her father, Kathy was preceded in death by two brothers, Ken and Keith Donley.

Kathy was a graduate of Buckeye South and was employed at The Health Plan of The Upper Ohio Valley, as Supervisor, Payroll and Treasury. Kathy put her heart and soul into her job, but her true passion and joy was being a loving wife and caring mother. Her family meant everything to her.

In addition to her mother, Kathy is survived by her husband, Craig Harris, of Rayland; her daughter, Jennifer (David) Diaz, of Columbus, OH; a sister, Kimberly Donley (Don Ackerman); step father, "Jr" Marbais;  granddaughter, Destiny Diaz, of Defiance, OH; two great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Bash Thompson, of Defiance, OH; stepsister, Tammy (Terry) Hosenfeld; sister in-law, Debbie Donley; niece, Loren Donley, of West Liberty and nephews, Justin and Jason Donley of Bellaire.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Kathy and celebrate her life, Thursday, October 12th, from 4-8, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH and on Friday, from 10:30 am until the time of service of 12:30 pm, at the funeral home, with Reverend Tom Thomas officiating.
