With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Judith Posgai Nemeti, a beloved mother, wife, and dedicated educator, on May 21, 2024, at the age of 81. Judith's life was a testament to strength, resilience, and unwavering love.
Born on April 21, 1943, Judith was a beacon of kindness and support to all who knew her. She was a six-time cancer survivor, embodying the spirit of perseverance and hope. Her roles marked her journey through life as a devoted mother and wife of the late David M Nemeti, and her 35-year career as a schoolteacher, where she touched countless lives with her caring and selfless nature.
Judith's early years were vibrant with activity; she proudly served as a majorette in her school band, showcasing her zest for life and dedication. She carried this same energy and enthusiasm into her family life, becoming the heart and soul of her home. Her family was her greatest joy, and she was a constant source of support and love.
She was an active Tiltonsville United Methodist Church member for over 50 years, where her faith shone brightly. Judith found solace and pleasure in gardening and canning, creating beautiful and bountiful harvests year after year. She was an avid reader, often found enthralled in the pages of a book.
Judith's kindness knew no bounds; she was a friend to everyone she met, offering a listening ear and a comforting presence. She faced the heartache of losing her mother at the age of 25 with remarkable grace, a testament to her strength of character.
Her legacy is one of selflessness, love, and an unyielding spirit. Judith Posgai Nemeti is survived by her loving son James M Nemeti, daughter Jamie Jo Posgai, her brother, Gary Posgai and family, her lifelong best friend and sister-in-law, Anne Nemeti and Anne's 5 daughters Jean Marie, Joyce, Dina, Donna, and Joni. Judith was blessed with a wide circle of friends who will forever cherish her memory and the lessons she imparted. Her life was a gift to all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Judith and celebrate her life on Saturday, June 8th from 11 am, until the time of memorial service of 1 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Reverend Tom Thomas officiating.
