John Marko

John Marko, 85, of Rayland, OH, died Friday, January 10, 2020, at Wheeling Hospital.

He was born on May 5, 1934, in Glen Robbins, OH, to the late Andy and Helen (Bonasik) Marko.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha (Kniszek) Marko; a brother, Joseph Marko and his daughter, Jamie Freeman.

John served in the United States Army and was retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Yorkville, OH.

He is survived by his two sons, John A. Marko, of Deersville, OH and Joseph M. (Julie) Marko, of Dillonvale, OH; a special companion, Mary Lou Skatula and five grandchildren.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to John and celebrate his life on Sunday , January 12th from 2-8, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with a wake service at 2 pm, with Father William Cross.

Funeral services will be conducted 10 am Monday from the funeral home.

Burial will follow at Upland Cemetery, Yorkville, OH.
