Jacqueline Ondayko

Jacqueline Kay Ondayko, 86, of Rayland, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, September 14th, 2025, at WVU Wheeling Hospital, surrounded by family and chaplain.

Jackie (Dona) was born March 6th, 1939, to the late John Robert Dona and Catherine Kay (Misko) Dona of Yorkville, Ohio.

Jackie was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother to her family. She was a wonderful neighbor, friend, and volunteer for several charities within her community for school children as well as the Tiltonsville United Methodist Church. In her early years, Jackie was a majorette for the Mighty Yorkville Ductillites, and graduated from The Wheeling School of Business, where she proceeded to work in banking for several years. At 23 years old, she married Michael Ondayko on November 17th, 1962, and proceeded to build a loving life together.

Jackie is survived by her husband of 65 years, Mike (Mickey) Ondayko. In addition to her husband, she has left behind a loving family who will miss her very much, including three children and their spouses, Michael and his wife Linda of West Lafayette, Brock and his wife Kristie of Pickerington; and Danielle and her husband Denny Lewis of Sedona, AZ. She has five grandchildren and their spouses, Michael and his wife Adrianna of West Lafayette and their two children Odessa and Isla Ondayko, Brandon Ondayko and his wife Hilary of Gahanna, Sean Ondayko of Columbus, Joshua Ondayko of Newark, and Emily Ondayko of Columbus.

Friends and family will be received to pay tribute to Jackie and celebrate her life on Wednesday, Sept. 17, at 10am. Memorial service at 11am, at the Tiltonsville United Methodist Church with Reverend Tom Thomas presiding, and a luncheon directly after church service at the church.
