Jacqueline "Jackie" Connors

Jacqueline “Jackie” Antonacci Connors is finally at peace after a very long battle with Alzheimers. 

Jackie was born on New Year’s Eve, 1949, to Clarence “Boots” Antonacci and Jeanne (Snyder/Kobus). In 1967, she graduated from Martins Ferry High School earning her credentials to be a licensed cosmetologist. She ran her own salon for more than 25 years, which she affectionately called “The Shop”. 

Jackie was the life of the party. If there wasn’t a dance floor, she would make her own. She was known for being hilarious in every moment. Her favorite holiday was Christmas. She went all out to make sure her children and grandchildren believed in the magic of the season. 

Even in her illness, she still made an impact. She helped care for other patients at the nursing home. Anytime the nursing home had live music, she danced and made everyone laugh. Her love of music has been passed to her children and grandchildren. Her infectious laugh will be remembered forever. 

Preceeding her in death is her beloved sister, Tina Jo; her mother, Jeanne; and her father, Boots. 

Surviving are her children: Dean (Susan Regrut) of Rayland, Ohio; Scott (Stacey Seidler) of Wheeling; and Joelle (Stefan Moray) of Wheeling. Her grandchildren Alexa Connors of Sacramento, CA; Kaylee Connors of Rayland, Ohio; Gillian, Sophia, and Adam Connors of Wheeling; Parker and Sloane Moray of Wheeling. Her brothers Clarence “Chip” (Mary) Antonacci of Tiltonsville and Terry (Tina) Antonacci of Clarksburg, West Virginia. Special friends Kathie Glover, of Yorkville; Rita and Jim Gibbons of Saint Clairsville; Ruth Hood of Martins Ferry; and Susan Regrut of Canonsburg, Pa. Also many nieces, nephews, and many close friends. 

Friends will be received at Borkoski Funeral Home, Yorkville, Ohio on Thursday, July 29, from 1pm-3pm. Friends are invited to a reception following at Blacksheep Winery.
