George "Butch" Murray

George “Butch” N. Murray Jr, 81, of Tiltonsville, OH, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Wheeling Hospital.

Butch was born July 26, 1941, in Martins Ferry, OH, to the late George and Virginia (Craver) Murray Sr.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Shirley Murray Nagler and his loving stepfather, Walton West.

Butch was a member at the Eagles, in St. Clairsville, OH and a social member at the VFW, in Yorkville, OH.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Sue (McFadden) Murray; a sister, Donna Jean Murray Fisher; two sisters in-law, Linda (Allen) Boyer and Sharon McFadden; a brother in-law, Frank (Sherry) McFadden and several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Butch and celebrate his life on Thursday, July 6th, at the Borkoski Funeral home, Tiltonsville, OH, from 10 am until the time of service of 1 pm, with Pastor Jim Monogioudis officiating.
