Francesco Pellegrino, 91, of Yorkville, OH, died, Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Wheeling Hospital.
He was born on October 7, 1927, in Belmonte Calabro, Italy, to the late Giovanni and Giuseppina (Marano) Pellegrino.
Frank was retired, after 37 years of service, from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel, Yorkville, Plant and was a member of the Yorkville Volunteer Fire department.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Elvira (Arlia) Pellegrino; a son, John (Susie) Pellegrino; a daughter, Josie (Andrew) Huck and three grandchildren, Vince and Anthony Huck and Andy Pellegrino.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Frank and celebrate his life on Tuesday, October 1st, from 4-8, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with a vigil at 4 pm, with Father William Cross.
Funeral Liturgy with mass will be held on Wednesday, at 10 am, at St. Lucy Catholic Church, Yorkville, OH.
Entombment will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Colerain, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Lucy Catholic Church or the Yorkville Fire Department in Frank's name.
