FRANCES (MAGNONE) ORIZCZAK
Frances (Magnone) Orizczak, 92, of Yorkville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at Park Health Center in St. Clairsville, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 16, 1929, in Yorkville, a daughter of the late Nick and Giovanni (Pate) Magnone.
Frances was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and Mema.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her loving husband John Orizczak of 63 years, brothers, James, Anthony, and William Magnone and sisters, Mary Travaglino, Rose Magnone, Josephine (Peppy) Parry, and her grandson, Bradley Joseph Closser.
Frances is survived by her daughter, Patricia (Blair) Closser of Yorkville, her son, John (Molly) Orizczak of Rayland and her sister-in-law, Eva (Orizczak) Barkhurst of Adena. Frances loved her 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Frances was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Tiltonsville, Ohio, Catholic Daughters of America, Yorkville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and Yorkville V.F.W. Post # 4811 Women’s Auxiliary. Frances loved her family and loved cooking and baking for them. Her spaghetti and meatballs, monkey bread, pumpkin bread, and pistachio cake were some of her favorite dishes to make. Frances was a very religious, kind, and giving lady. Everyone who knew her loved her.
Friends will be received on Thursday, April 7, from 10-12 P.M. at Borkoski Funeral Home in Tiltonsville, Ohio. Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be at 12:30 pm, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, Ohio, with Father William Cross officiating. Interment will follow at Upland Cemetery.
