Florina "Flo" Sako

Florina “Flo” Sako, 93, of Rayland, OH, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her family, and went home to be with the Lord, Friday, August 9, 2024.

She was born on October 26, 1930, in Rayland OH, to the late Nicodemo and Antoinette (Bibbo) Senatore.

In addition to her parents, Flo was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Sako and eight brothers and sisters.

She graduated from Warren Consolidated and was the former owner of The Country Corner Carryout & Video, in Rayland, OH. Flo was a very giving and loving person and was always there for anyone who needed help. She will be greatly missed!

Flo is survived by two sons, Larry (Cheryl) Sako and Robert (Barbara) Sako; two daughters, Kathy Sako and Patty (Joe) Lish; five grandchildren, Daniel Sako, Stephanie (Jim) Dailey, Anthony Sako, Dakota Lish and Cody Lish and two great-grandchildren, Kira Sako and Alyssa Dailey.

Funeral, Liturgy with Mass will be Friday, 10 am, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, OH, with Father William Cross officiating.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice of St. Clairsville, OH and her two caregivers, Theresa Hoffman and Krystal Van Horn.
