Elizabeth Jane Kachur

Elizabeth Jane (Betty) Kachur, 84, who was a loving mother, grandma, and great-grandma, passed away Friday, September 14 at Lizaás Place in Wheeling.
She was born September 13, 1934 in Wheeling. Her parents are the late Raymond A. and Agnes Michalek Hicks.
Elizabeth was Catholic by faith and enjoyed camping, fishing, shopping, blue grass music, and bingo.
In addition to her parents, her husband of 44 years, Edward Kachur, passed away in 1999. Preceding is also her brother Raymond A. Hicks Sr. and great-grandson Cohen B. Bertubin.
Surviving is her son Edward (Joyce) Kachur; daughter Mary Kay Bertubin; grandchildren Edward Jr. (Andrea), Kaela, Megan, Bradley, and Andrew Bertubin; great grandchildren Isabella and Bain Bertubin, Tessah Zeroski and Easton Clutter, her companion James Taylor; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be recieved to pay tribute to Elizabeth and her life Tuesday 2-9 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home where services will be conducted. Wednesday at 11 a.m. George Coyne will be officiating.
A burial at Holly Memorial Gardens at Pleasant Grove will follow.
