Edsel N Barcus SR.

Edsel N. Barcus Sr., 95, of Martins Ferry, OH, died, Sunday, August 9, 2020, at Wheeling Hospital.

He was born on May 9, 1925, in Rush Run, OH, to the late Edgar Barcus and Agnes (Higgs) Dale.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Fannie (Wilson) Barcus; a brother, Dale Barcus and a sister, Eunice Erickson.

Ed worked at Conrail Railroad for 30 years and East Ohio Regional Hospital for 17 years, and was a member of The Church of God in Martins Ferry, OH.

He is survived by two sons, Edsel Barcus Jr and Dale Barcus (Debbie); a daughter, Karen (Dan) Mitchell; a sister, Lela Alexander; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Ed and celebrate his life on Friday, August 14th, from 2-8, at The Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 11 am, from the funeral home.

Masks and social distancing will be required during calling hours and the funeral service.
