Dorothy Cooper Obituary

Dorothy Rose Cooper, 94, formerly of Rayland, OH, passed away, Sunday, March 29, 2026, at Gables Nursing Home, in Hopedale, OH.

She was born on September 27, 1931, in Yorkville, OH, to the late George and Rose (Kavach) Cooper.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Cooper and Calvin Kreuger and two sisters, Maryann Petrella and Eileen Briggs.

Dorothy is survived by her nephew, Derek Briggs (Jody Perone); her niece, Janet Brookins; five very special great-nephews, Shane Brookins, Tyler (Jordan) Brookins, Nathan Brookins, Christian Briggs and Cameron (Nikki) Briggs and former son in-law, Jim Brookins.
