Donald Heskett Obituary

Donald R. Heskett, 91, of Rayland, OH, died, Sunday, August 2, 2020, at Forest Hill Care Center.

He was born on March 22, 1929, in Bethesda, OH, to the late Wilbur and Rosalie (Burkhead) Heskett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Heskett and his sister, Eva Louise Schrickel.

Don first job was with Belot Industries, but ultimately retired as an electrician from Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel. He was a former Board Member of Buckeye Local and a member of the Meadowbrook Church of God.

He is survived by his son, Mark (Carla) Heskett; his daughter, Judy (Elwyn) “Corky” Saiter; a sister, Earlene Hustead, four grandchildren, Emilee Petric, Jason (Angie) Saiter, Erin (Brian) Best and Andrew (Nikki) Saiter and ten great-grandchildren, Cameron, Lindsey and Connor Best, Andrew and Cole Saiter, Maddie and Henry Saiter, Mihaela and Luka Petric and Jacob Piatt.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Don and celebrate his life on Thursday, August 6th, from 2-8 at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH. And on Friday from 10 am until the time of service of 11 am at the Meadowbrook Church of God, with Reverend Marvin Schooler officiating.

Burial will follow at Hopewell Cemetery, Rayland, OH.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Meadowbrook Church of God, in Don’s name.
