David Nemeti

In Loving Memory of David Michael Nemeti (1942 - 2024)

David Michael Nemeti, a man of unwavering integrity and a passion for music, left this world on January 11th, 2024.  Dave spent his early years on Narrows Road, in a world of music that would become the soundtrack of his life.

A gifted trumpet player, David's journey began at an early age, and he quickly became recognized for his outstanding talent. His early years were dedicated to honing his skills, and he proudly graduated from West Liberty University, setting the stage for a lifelong dedication to the world of music. During this time, he played in various bands and showcased his prowess as a talented Band Director.

In the Symphony of Life, David found his perfect duet with Judith Posgai. High school sweethearts, they shared a love that stood the test of time. Married soon after high school, their union lasted an incredible 59 years. Together, they built a life based on honesty, character, and integrity.

David was a dedicated Mason, embodying the principles of brotherhood and fellowship. His professional journey eventually led him to WPS. Later in life, he embraced new adventures, taking on an unexpected yet beloved role as a School Bus Driver.

A devoted Little League Baseball Coach, David mentored countless individuals, always referring to them as "men." His coaching went beyond the field, instilling values of discipline, teamwork, perseverance, and confidence in those he guided.

David Nemeti is survived by his loving wife, Judith, son James Nemeti, and daughter Jamie Jo Posgai, along with Sister In Law Anne Nemeti, and her 5 daughters, David's nieces, Jean, Joyce, Dina, Donna, and Joni, who will forever carry his memory in their hearts. May he rest in eternal peace.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to David and celebrate his impactful life on Saturday, January 20th, at 11:00 am until the time of service of 1 pm, at Borkoski Funeral Home in Tiltonsville, OH, with Reverend Tom Thomas officiating.
