Constance June (Lutz) Jones

Constance June (Lutz) Jones, 90, originally and recently of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Sunday, May 19, 2024. 

She was born May 4, 1934, in Wheeling, WV to the late William A. and Mary (Little) Lutz.  She was a graduate of Saint Joseph Academy in Wheeling.  Connie was a devout Christian and very strong in faith.  She was known to all for an amazing work ethic – caring, kind, generous and giving - one who loved long conversations where she would share lots of detail and advice. 

Throughout her life she worked in the food service business.  Nearly 40 years were dedicated to starting, owning, and operating the Hickory Lodge Catering in Mingo Junction, OH with her then husband the late Daniel Divjak and subsequently the late William “Bill” Jones, along with her daughter Tina and son-in-law the late David Antoline. 

In addition to her parents, husbands, and son-in-law, Connie is preceded in death by her sister, Joan Fischer; niece, Nancy Van Curen; and grandson, Cole Bertol. 

Connie is survived by her four children, Ken (Sara) Esposito of Weirton, WV; Tina Antoline of Aiken, SC; Jo Ann (Jim) Brown of Belmont, OH; and Art (Judy) Bertol of Wheeling, WV; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two nephews, and numerous cousins and friends. 

Connie’s family would like to thank the amazing staff of Welty Home and Good Shepherd Nursing Home of Wheeling for their great care and kindness. 

A private funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 28, 2024, at 1:00PM at Borkoski Funeral Home, 337 Jefferson Street, Tiltonsville, OH.  Family will be received the hour prior to the service from 12:00PM to 1:00PM at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Holy Resurrection Cemetery, Steubenville, OH.
