Clara Snyder, 98, of Wellsville, OH, passed away, Thursday, October 13, 2022, at East Liver Pool City Hospital.
She was born on September 23, 1924, in Hocking, OH, to the late Richard and Anna (Marks) Smith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fuller Snyder; six brothers, Frank, Hardy, Calvin, Albert, Richard and Jesse Smith and three sisters, Anna Smith, Josephine Catlin and Minnie McLaughlin.
Clara was a member of Mt. Sinai Fire Baptized Church. She loved working with the youth, she was involved with the Girls Assembly and was an honorary member of Eastern Star. In her spare time, Clara enjoyed reading and making quilts.
Clara is survived by three sisters, Dorothy (Martin) Dalton, of Wintersville, OH, Annabelle Cochran, of Lorain, OH and Evelyn Bushman, of Wellsville, OH; her sister in-law, Wilma Smith and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Clara and celebrate her life on, Saturday, October 22nd, from noon until the time of service of 1 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Pastor Mary Kidd officiating.
