Catherine Ann Skibo

Catherine Ann Skibo, 69, of Tiltonsville, Ohio, was prayerfully guided through the gates of Heaven into the loving arms of her Lord on February 17, 2026, at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Born in Wheeling, WV on July 22, 1956, Cathy was the daughter of Katie and John Crkvenac Jr., and the youngest sister of Helen Dixon, Tom Crkvenac, John Crkvenac III, and Mike Crkvenac.

On May 18, 1979, Cathy married the love of her life, Ron Skibo. Together they built a family with four children: daughters April Rodela (Brian) Shannon Auten (James), Eryn Leonard (Ryan), and son Matthew Skibo (Amie). She was a proud and devoted Baba to her cherished grandchildren, Jaxon and Emerson Leonard. The depth of her love for her family was truly beyond compare.

A faithful parishioner of St. Joseph’s, Cathy generously shared her God-given gift of song as a member of the choir and faithfully served her church community for decades as its secretary.

Cathy was preceded in death by her beloved parents and her dear brother, John.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Cathy and celebrate her life on Sunday, February 22nd, from 2-7 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with a Vigil service at 4 pm, with Father William Cross.

Funeral Liturgy with Mass will be Monday 10 am, at St Joseph Catholic Church, Tiltonsville, OH.

Burial will follow at Upland Cemetery, Yorkville, OH.
