Caroline Laposki

Caroline (Gaudio) Laposki, 91 died peacefully on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, in the home she shared with her son in Payson, Arizona. A funeral mass was held on June 2nd at her parish St. Phillips Catholic Church in Payson which began with praying the rosary.

Born in Follansbee, West Virginia July 16, 1929. She was preceded in death by a son Mitchell Perna and husband Robert R. Laposki of Yorkville, Ohio. Also preceding in death were her parents Pasqualle and Concetta Gaudio and ger siblings: brothers Tony, Frankie, Johnny, Joe, Domenic and Patsy and sisters: Mary Bentz, Rose Julio, Josephine Mancano, Ann McCann, and Patricia Cunningham, and stepson Robert Laposki.

Caroline is survived by her youngest sister Joann Klakos of South Carolina, and a daughter Kathy (George) Antinone, a granddaughter Angela (Kevin) Klemm of Englewood, Colorado and a son Larry Perna, Granddaughter Toni and Grandson Mitchell (Jaimie) all of Payson and stepdaughter Marla Kenneally, and grandsons Tom, Derek and granddaughter Danielle Kenneally all of Yorkville. She is also survived by several grandchildren and greats and many nieces and nephews.  

A memorial service with her remains will be held at Borkoski Funeral Home on June 22 at 11:00 am-12:30 pm 337Jefferson Street in Tiltonsville, Ohio 43963, and immediate burial following at Cemetery. In Lieu of followers please donate to your favorite charity or homeless shelter or St. Jude’s which was one of her favorites.
