Beverly Smith

Beverly F. Smith, 78, of Moundsville, WV, Formerly of Rayland, OH, passed away, Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at her home.

Beverly was born September 11, 1943, in Wheeling, WV, to the late George and Carolyn (McCabe) McKennen.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Merrick Smith and five sisters, Virginia Howard, Loretta Linabarger, Lorena Williams, Sharon Bryan and Patty McKennen.

Beverly graduated from Union High School, in Benwood WV and West Virginia Northern Community College. She was employed at U.S. stamping Company, in Moundsville, WV and eventually retired from WVNCC as an assistant administrator for the Director of Activities. She was also a member of American Legion Auxiliary Club, Moundsville, WV.

Beverly is survived by her niece and best friend, Roxanne James; two grandchildren, Josh McMasters and Jenna Ziklo and several other nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received to pay tribute to Beverly and celebrate her life on Wednesday, June 12th, from 11 am until the time of service of 12 pm, at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, OH, with Pastor Jim Monogioudis officiating.
